Badunkadunk crashes out over our repainting of the DSA bench. Do you think she’s going to act this way after every DSA bench we repaint? She’s not exactly healthy looking and with the amount of paint we’re currently sitting on and the number of DSA benches in this town she’s running the risk of cardiac failure.

Our favorite comment so far on Badunkadunk’s crash out. She won’t even understand what he’s talking about.
Although technically nothing was stolen. The DSA benches are abandoned property so we can do whatever we want with them, including throwing them away. However, the bench in question is still out there as a fully functioning bus stop bench.
Dane Scalise, New Hanover County Commissioner and candidate for NC House District 20 has weighed in on our repainting of a DSA bench. For those not on X we have reposted screenshots of his post in its entirety.
County Commissioner Scalise states that he has requested authorization from the NC Department of Transportation for the county to remove the DSA benches. He goes on to say “I will not abide further lawlessness or calls for vigilantism by the DSA, the Proud Boys, or anyone else. And I will not abide further inaction by local government”.
We had a discussion within our chapter last night to suspend our operations against the DSA for a period of a few weeks to give local Republican county officials time to act. We decided against doing so. The bench campaign will continue. Dane, what we are about to say is for you and your party’s own good. It’s gonna sting a bit, but we do want you to succeed so it’s necessary that you and your party hear this: Republicans are weak.
You are losers addicted to losing. You are a do-nothing party that citizens vote for solely because the other side is worse. Read what you wrote Dane. You opened your post with “The Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) has spent over a year placing unauthorized, non-compliant benches painted with political propaganda at Wave Transit stops”. A year Dane. A YEAR. One year and you are just now deciding to do something about it.
Were you unable to request NCDOT authorization a week ago? A month ago? A year ago? What changed? Why now? We all know why. You let the DSA run rogue around our town for a year but as soon as the Proud Boys get involved within 24 hours you’re requesting NCDOT authorization for removal. Now you’re going to talk tough about law and order? Where has law and order been for the past year Dane? It’s not just you, it’s your entire party.
Where is the SAVE act? Where are the mass deportations? Where is the completed border wall? We sure did get another Middle Eastern war though. It shouldn’t have to take the Proud Boys to force Republicans to do what they were elected to do. But no, we aren’t going to wait on the county or city anymore. We aren’t going to stop and we aren’t sorry. Get these socialist billboards repainted or removed or we will.
Understand that whenever the local government fails to act there are men in this town who will. We would rather not and have our local leaders do what we hired them to do, but here we are. The clock is ticking. We’ve already decided which DSA bench is being repainted next.
